Cottonrake is a an independent craft bakery in Glasgow’s West End dedicated to delivering the highest standards in pastry, sourdough bread and speciality coffee. In 2023 we opened Cottonrake Cafe next to the botanic gardens to showcase our offering on a larger scale, including a breakfast, lunch and evening service.

Summary

​

As we are currently expanding our production kitchen, we are now seeking an experienced and energetic van driver to facilitate deliveries between our venues. The position will be five days a week across seven from 6:30am - 12pm.

​

Responsibilities

​

• Safely operate a van for the delivery of produce.

• Ensure timely deliveries.

• Load and unload products efficiently, maintaining their quality during transit.

• Communicate effectively with team members.

• Help deliver stock between venues when necessary.

• Help kitchen teams with small jobs and preparation when necessary.

​

Requirements

 

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record held for over 12 months.

• Must be aged 25 or over.

• Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
